The basic wage shall be adjusted from NT$15,840 to NT$17,280 commencing from July 1, 2007. In coordination with the adjustment of the basic wage, two additional grades, NT$17,280 and NT$12,105, are included in the "
Table of Monthly Contributions for Labor Pension", which shall also be implemented on the same day. Commencing from July 1, 2007, workers over the age of 16, whose monthly contributions for labor pension shall not be less than NT$17,280 applicable to the basic wage. As stipulated in Article 14 of the Enforcement Rules of the Labor Standards Act, the wage of child labor (below 16 years old) shall not be less than 70% of the basic wage. Therefore, the monthly contributions for labor pension of child labor shall not be less than NT$12,105.
