14. Whether the temporary personnel in public agencies are applicable to Labor Standards Act? Whether labor retirement pension should be contributed under new labor pension system?
- Starting from January 1 of 2008, temporary personnel hired by public agencies are applicable to Labor Standards Act and they are the targets of compulsory contribution from the same day; public agencies should contribute labor pension for the temporary personnel according to the rules.
- Since the temporary personnel could apply to Labor Standards Act, they could also apply to the new pension system and the temporary personnel do not have the rights to select the old pension.
