Calculation of monthly insured salary (monthly contribution wage) against total monthly salary

Corresponding monthly insured salary (contribution wage) grades for labor insurance, employment insurance, occupational accident insurance, and labor pension：

  1. For full-time workers in general, the total monthly salary shall not be lower than the basic wage.
  2. Trainees of vocational training institutes shall not be applicable to the employment insurance and the new labor pension system.
  3. Employers actually engaged in labor works should be enrolled at the highest-level insured salary of the Table of Grades of Labor Insurance Salary (NTD45,800 for labor insurance and NTD72,800 for occupational accident insurance). In the event the income thereof is lower than the amount of the highest-level insured salary, the employer may proactively provide relevant evidences to prove the insured salary reported. Furthermore, according to the Labor Pension Act, the employers actually engaged in labor works may contribute to the labor pension on a voluntary basis. Those who wish to participate on a voluntary basis should complete the “Labor Pension Contribution Application Form” and report the monthly contribution wage based on the actual wage received or actual income for practicing business, in accordance with the requirements set forth in the “Monthly Contribution classification of Labor Pension”.
