3.Does the Wage Arrears Payment Fund system apply to all workers who have enrolled in the labor insurance? What are the enrollment procedures if the employee is not applicable to the Labor Standards Act?

Not all workers who have enrolled in the labor insurance are eligible to this system. To qualify for this system, the worker must meet the conditions of a “Worker” defined in the Labor Standards Act. When filing a written application for labor insurance enrollment for employees who are not applicable to the Labor Standards Act, therefore, the insured unit should separately fill out the “Insured Units of the Labor Insurance - Declaration Form for 【Contribution/Exemption from Contribution】 of the  Wage Arrears Payment Fund for the Insured Persons” and tick the appropriate box for the “personal status” of the employee. If the application is made through Internet, please input the appropriate status of the insured person in the column of “Special Status under the Labor Standards Act”. No contribution to the Wage Arrears Payment Fund is required for these employees.
