As stipulated by Council for Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan’s October 16, 2013 Lao-Bao-San-Tze number 1020140540 order for interpreting the stipulations set forth under Paragraph 6, Article 58 of the Labor Insurance Act, of individuals who are collecting the labor insurance senior payout and who have been rehired by a labor insurance subscribing entity or placed with a government-registered vocational training institution to receive training, the subscriber entity may file for the occupational accident insurance on behalf of the individual. When encountering an insurable incident during the valid insured period, such insured may file for the occupational accident insurance-related payout per the Labor Insurance Act. When collecting the occupational accident insurance’s disability payout or death payout, it does not need to deduct the labor insurance old-age benefit already collected. As for individuals over 65 years old who are collecting the pension payment from civil servant and teacher insurance, discharge payment from military personnel insurance, senior farmer welfare allowance or old age pension from state insurance, when hired by a group insurance applicant of labor insurance to render work or placed with a government-registered occupational training institution to receive training, the subscriber entity may also file for the individual to participate in the occupational accident insurance, and the insurance is also to take effect immediately.
Said association has been abolished per the May 14, 2013 Lao-Bao-San-Tze number 1020140110 order, and which is to take effect immediately.
