1. What is the qualification and benefit standard for claiming funeral grant?

  1. Qualifications: In the event of death of the father, mother, spouse, or child of an insured person, he may claim funeral grant.
     
  2. Benefit standards: It is computed on the basis of average monthly insurance salary for the last six months prior to the month (it is included) in which the death of a family member occurs.
    (1) In the event of the death of insured’s father, mother or spouse: 3-months’ salaries.
    (2) In the event of the death of insured’s child twelve years of age or above: two-and-a-half months’ salaries.
    (3) In the event of the death of insured’s child less than twelve years of age: one-and-a -half months’ salaries.
