6. If more than two insured persons apply for the funeral grant, how should the grant be paid? If they cannot reach an agreement, how will the BLI pay them?
Before one application is approved by the BLI, if there is another application for the funeral grant for the death of the same person, the BLI will notify the applicants in writing, asking them to reach an agreement within 30 days. If they are unable to reach an agreement, the highest amount of the funeral grant approved will be equally distributed among all the applicants.
