6. I started receiving the old-age pension benefit in February 2012, will I also receive an increased payment starting from May 2017?

No. The adjustment this time only applies to the individuals who began receiving labor insurance pension payments in 2011. For recipients from other years, no adjustment will be made since the CPI accumulated growth rate has not reached the statutory standard of 5%. Individuals who began receiving labor insurance pension payments in February 2012 will not be receiving adjusted payments. The adjustment will be made when the CPI accumulated growth rate reaches 5% for the years of 2012 and onwards.
