Citizens will be expected to report their 2017 consolidated income tax as of May 1, 2018. With the goal of ensuring a smooth reporting tax and checking deductions of income process, the Bureau of Labor Insurance (hereinafter referred to as BLI) has provided information regarding individual labor insurance, national pension insurance, and farmer's health insurance payments for 2017 to the Fiscal Information Agency of the Ministry of Finance. If insured persons intend to report their consolidated income tax online, the online tax system will automatically display the amounts deductible for 2017 without the need to otherwise submit payment information.
The public can inquire about their insurance payment information through the following methods provided by the BLI:
I. Insured person with Citizen Digital Certificate:
1.Print from the Internet:

BLI website and use the Citizen Digital Certificate to log onto the "Internet Application and Inquiry System for Individuals" under the Bureau's "e-Service System" and print labor insurance, national pension insurance, and farmer's health insurance payment receipts online.
2. Print at four major convenience store chains:
Insured persons under the national pension scheme can use the multimedia information kiosks at 7-11, Family Mart, Hi-Life, and OK Mart to print their national pension payment receipts (fees apply).

The BLI has stated that the payment receipts requested for labor insurance, national pension insurance, and farmer's health insurance payments through the aforementioned methods serve only as reference for reporting of consolidated income tax. Those for whom the reported deductibles do not match the amounts inquired for must submit an original copy of the payment receipt when reporting their tax.
The BLI reminds you, according to the Income Tax Act, health insurance premiums may be deducted in full and are not subject to the maximum NT$24,000 in insurance premium deductions per person per year; the maximum NT$24,000 in insurance premium deductions applies to labor insurance premiums and other life insurance premiums (general business insurance; national pension insurance; farmer's health insurance; and insurance for military personnel, public servants and teachers).
