6. In case an individual has already opened a designated account for the labor insurance pension, national pension, labor pension payment (monthly payment), farmer pension or welfare allowance for elderly farmers, this account be used for the deposits of employment insurance benefits?

If the insured person has already opened a related designated account with the post office or the Land Bank of Taiwan, he/she may use this account for the deposits of employment insurance benefits. It is not necessary to open a new account. If such an account is opened with the Taiwan Cooperative Bank or the Farmers’ ( Fishermen’s) Association, however, a new designated account for employment insurance benefits should be established.
