11. Can I participate in labor insurance with an occupational union if I am unemployed?

No, you may not. Labor insurance is a form of in-service insurance for those who are actually working. If you do not have a job, you cannot participate in labor insurance according to regulations. If you acquire a job in the future, you could have your insured unit enroll you in labor insurance. Only no definite employer labor or self-employed operator who maintain themselves with the compensations obtained from actually participating in the trade, can be insured by the occupational union to which they belong.
