From January 1, 2022 onward, the Level 1 insurance salary for labor insurance shall be adjusted to NTD25, 250. The premium rates of occupational accident insurance under the labor insurance system for individuals insured through occupational unions or fishermen’s associations shall be adjusted. For workers with an insurance salary of less than NTD25, 250, the BLI shall proactively adjust the insured amount on the same day.

I. This is administered in accordance with the "Table of Business Category and Premium Applicable for the Occupational Accident of Labor Insurance" amended and announced on October 26, 2021 by the Ministry of Labor by Order No. Lao-Dung-Bao-3-Zi-No.1100140684 and the "Table of Grades of Labor Insurance Salary" amended and announced on November 24, 2021 by Order No. Lao-Dung-Bao-2-Zi-No. 1100140783.

II. Pursuant to Article 13, Paragraph 3 of the Labor Insurance Act, the premium rate of the occupational accident insurance shall be adjusted once every three years. Also, to keep in line with the adjustment of basic wage, the Level 1 insurance salary on the "Table of Grades of Labor Insurance Salary" shall be revised to NTD25, 250 with effect from January 1, 2022. For those insured through occupational unions or fishermen’s associations whose insurance salary is lower than the Level 1 insurance salary of the new "Table of Grades of Labor Insurance Salary" (not including the low-income workers), the BLI shall proactively adjust the insurance amount to NTD25,250 from January 1, 2022.

III. "Table of Grades of Labor Insurance Salary", "Table of Business Category and Premium Applicable for the Occupational Accident of Labor Insurance" and "Table of Shared Insurance Premium" , which are applicable from January 1, 2022 onward, are available on the BLI website at "Public Service/ Table Download" for your reference.
