Insurance Enrollment Procedure

  1. When the voluntarily insured applies for the insurance, they shall not withdraw from the Insurance unless in accordance with the Act.
  2. Employers, who actually participate in the work, shall participate in the Insurance under the same insured unit as their employees.
  3. When category A members of fisheries associations employ no more than 10 workers to perform marine fishing/netting work together and if they actually still perform marine fishing/netting work may participate in the insurance in accordance with the Act of the fisheries Association category A membership.
  4. Employed workers who meet the requirements for labor occupational accident insurance shall apply for labor occupational accident insurance with their employers as the insured units. Each unit shall fill in the insurance application form on the day the employee is onboard or apply for insurance through the Internet. Those who have not yet established an insured unit shall process the procedures for opening an account while applying for insurance for the first time.

Written declaration

The insured unit fills in the insurance application form and the insurance declaration form (both documents shall be stamped with the seals of the unit and the person in-charge), which shall be submitted by hand or registered mail to the Bureau along with the photocopies of the certificates. The Bureau will take about 6 working days for review after receipt. If the required documents are complete, the Bureau will send a notice of underwriting by registered mail. If the required documents are not complete, the Bureau will return the original documents to the insured unit for corrections by registered mail. The insured unit shall make corrections within 10 days from the day after receiving such notification. If the corrections are made on time, the original notification date to the insurer (the Bureau) shall be the application and declaration date.

The e-service system of the Bureau

The insured unit can present the unit certificate and citizen digital certificate to register as an online application unit of the Bureau's e-service system. In addition to enabling the online declaration of the insurance application and withdrawal and the insured salary adjustment of the insured, it can also use the Internet to inquire the list of insured, insurance application information, insurance benefits, insurance premium and change of the communication information of the insured unit, the insurance record can be inquired on the 3rd working day after successful declaration, which is a convenient service for the insured unit.
