Injury or Sickness Benefits (Temporary Disability Benefits)

If the insured person suffers occupational injury or disease, cannot perform for, cannot receive original salary as a result and is under treatment, he/she may claim Injury or sickness benefits starting from the 4th day of inability to perform work. The injury or sickness benefits in the previous 2 months shall be issued based on the average of the actual monthly insured salary during the 6 months before the month during which the insured person suffers the insured incident. Starting from the 3rd month, 70% of the average monthly insured salary of the insured person shall be paid. The maximum payment period is 2 years.
