2. Are those over 65 years old or those that have received labor insurance old-age benefits which are re-employed workers required to apply for labor occupational accident insurance?

Yes. In accordance with Paragraph 1 of Article 6 of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act, laborers over the age of 15 who are employed by registered employers shall declare via the employers to apply for labor occupational accident insurance. The upper limit of the age for the insured and the provision of no reinsurance after receiving the old-age benefit of labor insurance shall be abolished. Therefore, employed laborers who are over 65 years old or who have received the old-age benefit of labor insurance shall still apply for labor occupational accident insurance via their employers.
