To reassure people of its services, the BLI would distribute related text messages to the insured persons upon receipt of their application for benefit payment or premium installment of the national pension insurance, if he/she has provided a mobile phone number. To combat scam text messages, twelve types of text notices (as listed below) relating to the National Pension Insurance (NPI) will be issued by the 111 Government SMS Platform instead. This has taken effect since January, 2024.
- Notice of Acceptance against the Application for NPI - Old-Age Pension Benefits
- Notice of Acceptance against the Application for NPI - Maternity Benefits
- Notice of Acceptance against the Application for NPI - Old-Age Basic Guaranteed Pension Payments
- Notice of Acceptance against the Application for NPI - Indigenous People Payments
- Notice of First Payment of NPI - Old-Age Pension Benefits
- Notice of Acceptance against the Application for NPI - Disability (Basic Guaranteed) Pension Payments
- Notice of Acceptance against the Application for NPI - Funeral Benefits
- Notice of Acceptance against the Application for NPI - Survivor Pension Payments
- Notice of Acceptance against the Application for NPI - Premium Installment
- Notice of Acceptance against the Application for NPI - Automatic Transfer of Premium Installment
- Payment Bill for NPI - First Payment of Premium Installment
- Notice for NPI - Repayment of Overpaid Premium
Please be reminded that, considering the time needed for mail delivery, receipt and data input, an applicant normally needs to wait for around six working days before he/she receives the text message confirming BLI’s acceptance of the case. Thank you for your patience.
