Pursuant to Article 48 of the Enforcement Rules of the Labor Insurance Act, insurance benefits shall be directly remitted into the insured person's account. If the account is at an overseas financial institution, the processing fee shall be borne by the insured person claiming the insurance benefits. Therefore, labor insurance maternity benefits may be remitted to an overseas account of an insured person, but the insured person is required to bear the processing fees.
