National Health Insurance Premium Subsidies for Unemployed Insured Persons and Their Dependents

(1)The insured person receiving unemployment benefit or vocational training living allowance.
(2)Dependents who had joined the National Health Insurance with the insured person at the time the insured person left his/her job and withdrew from his/her insurance, and who maintain the status of a dependant stipulated in Article 2 of the National Health Insurance Act or a Category 6 insured person for the duration of subsidization. However, this does not include dependants who backdated to join the insurance after the insured person had left his/her job and withdrawn from his/her insurance.
- Subsidy standards
(1)Those who are eligible for the subsidy shall be fully subsidized for their co-payment portion of the monthly national health insurance premium during the period of subsidy. However, the insurer shall not subsidize for the supplementary premium to be collected in accordance with the National Health Insurance Act.
(2) With respect to the period of subsidy, the national health insurance premium subsidies shall be paid for each month that contains the last day of the respective period when the insured receives the unemployment benefits or vocational training living allowancess.
