5. How is working seniority calculated? If I have changed job, does my seniority with different companies be combined in calculation? I am on leave without pay for one year, is my seniority still calculated? If my father continues to work after having received the pension, how is his seniority calculated?

  1. The working seniority shall be the actual amount of months when the pensions are collected. Therefore, even if only one day’s wage is collected, that month shall be counted into the seniority; if a worker has 2 jobs in a month, it would only be counted as 1 month.

  2. If you participate in labor pension program with different companies, even the seniority is interrupted, both your seniority with different companies shall be combined in calculation.

  3. If you are on leave without pay, no wage is issued and contribution is suspended, so seniority will not be calculated.

  4. If your father continues to work after having received the pension, his employer shall continue to contribute to the labor pension, and his seniority shall be reset.
