A fine of NT$3,000 to NT$15,000 will be imposed to the insurer’s spouse jointly responsible for paying the premium but failed to pay the premium and interest , and still failed to do so after insured's written request to pay by deadline. This, however, shall not apply to spouses who have justified reasons for not paying the premium.
