7. I was born on July 15, 1958 and reached the age of 65 in July 2023. Why am I required to pay the premium for National Pension Insurance for July?

According to the regulations, you still need to participate in the National Pension Insurance program for the period of July 1 to July 14, 2023. Therefore, the Bureau of Labor Insurance has charged you for 14 days in July 2023. As long as you have paid the premium, the coverage years of insurance would be calculated on 14 days. You are eligible to apply to the Bureau of Labor Insurance for the Old-Age Pension Benefit since July 2023. There is no need to pay the premium after August 2023.
