11. Is the survivor’s pension receivable for life?

Not necessarily. Survivors of different identities are eligible in different ways. Only when a survivor is eligible, will the pension be paid to him/her. Once a survivor becomes ineligible, such as in the event of detention or imprisonment because of a criminal case, disappearance, re-marrying of a spouse, a child’s having become an adult or stopping going to school, etc., the BLI will stop paying the survivor’s pension from the month following the one when such a fact occurs.
