According to the provision in Article 6 of Labor Insurance Act, for foreign workers who are above 15 years old and under 65 years of age and are hired by factories, companies, corporations, news, cultural, public welfare and cooperation organization which hire more than 5 employees, as well as foreign workers employed in the fishing industry, should use their employer as the insured unit and participate in Labor Insurance as insured persons.
