Subsidy for Uninsured Occupational Accident Workers

An employee or self-employed worker who has not participated in labor occupational accident insurance in accordance with Article 7, Subparagraph 1 of Paragraph 1 of Article 9, and Paragraph 1 of Article 10 of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act and has suffered an occupational injury or disease resulting in disability or died as a result of an occupational injury or disease, and is unable to claim the insurance benefits provided for in this Act, an application may be filed with the insurer to seek permanent disability subsidy,or surviving family members to seek death subsidy.

Note:

Article 7 of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act: A worker without regular employment or self-employed, those who are participated in labor occupational accident insurance by craft unions or fisheries associations. 

Subparagraph 1 of Paragraph 1 of Article 9 of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act: Employees employed by employers publicly announced by the central competent authority other than those under the first paragraph of Article 6 of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act.

 Paragraph 1 of Article 10 of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act: Employees or persons who actually perform work other than those under Articles 6 to 9 of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act.
