8. Is the application and payment of the survivor pension the same as the permanent disability pension?
No. The permanent disability pension for occupational insurance is distributed monthly from the month of application, but beneficiaries who meet the eligibility requirements for survivor pension can retroactively be re-distributed with the benefits they are entitled to receive within 5 years from the date of submitting the application.
