2. If the worker passes away after applying for permanent disability allowances, can he/she apply for death allowances?
If a worker applying for permanent disability allowances passes away due to the same occupational disease, his/her surviving family members’ may apply for death allowances deducting the difference of the amount of permanent disability allowances already received.
