7. Do I have to withdraw from the insurance in order to apply for the permanent disability pension of labor occupational accident insurance?

According to Article 48 of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act.,if the insured is assessed to be incapable of working permanently and receives the benefits of this insurance or labor insurance, the insurer shall directly withdraw from the insurance.

Therefore, if the insured becomes incapable of working permanently due to an occupational accident, and if he/she applies for a pension of complete or severe disability, the Bureau will withdraw the insurance in accordance with the above-mentioned regulations; those who have already received the partial disability pension may reapply for the insurance upon returning to the workplace.
