18. Will there be any discount on the handling fee deducted when the survivor pension payment is remitted to the foreign account every month?

Based on Article 44 of the Rules of Enforcement of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act, the insurance payment shall be directly remitted to the account of the beneficiary. If the claimant of the survivor pension does not have a household registration and a bank account in ROC, he/she may apply to the Bureau for a half-yearly payment to reduce the handling fee for monthly international remittance.
