To improve notification efficiency for insured units and persons setting up automatic premium deductions for Labor, Employment, and Occupational Accident Insurance, and in support of the government's energy-saving and paper-reduction policies, text messages will replace paper notifications upon successful automatic deduction setup starting September 2026. This service applies to insured persons under continued coverage following lay-off, occupational accident, or parental leave, as well as employers of migrant domestic workers who have successfully applied for automatic deduction and have a complete mobile number registered with the Bureau of Labor Insurance (BLI), ensuring faster and more convenient delivery of notifications.
These text message notifications are sent via the "111 Government SMS Platform" established by the Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA). The source number is "111," and the message begins with the last three digits of the recipient's mobile phone number followed by "Bureau of Labor Insurance, Ministry of Labor." The public can identify the message source through the "source number 111," "the last three digits of the mobile phone number," and the "agency name" to confirm it was sent by the BLI and avoid mistaking it for a fraudulent message.
Through this text message notification service, the aforementioned insured persons and employers of migrant domestic workers can receive real-time confirmation of successful automatic deduction setup. Simultaneously, reducing paper notices offers convenience to the public while supporting environmental sustainability.
